摘一段回帖里的评论,关于杜卡迪的:http://f800riders.org/forum/show ... -ALL-OUT-speed-test
Ducati is not about horsepower, but Hayabusa-level torque in a bike that weighs nothing; they're formidable on the track due to corner exit drive - in a WSBK race, listen as the Ducatis come out of a corner; their RPMs are way low and it sounds like a WWII propeller fighter plane on takeoff.
I'd have thought Ducati would have suffered some sort of failure, but I am surprised that the Japanese bikes blew up (no shock with Aprilia trashing a crankshaft)...but guess all that racing experience makes for a bike that's good at top speed for awhile. Just need those pesky valve adjustments.
Nardo is indeed huge, but I thought all literbikes had 300kph speed limiters? Don't know that for sure, but Suzuki and Kawasaki mutually agreed to limit the Hayabusa and ZX-14 to 300kph. But that 0-250kph time is insane. Ten seconds! I was talking today with my Skyline friends about Skylines that can run 0-300kph in under 15 seconds - takes over 1000bhp and at least $200-300K in engine work, not to mention a $30,000 sequential transmission. And yet that kind of acceleration is to be had from a stock BMW. Jeebus.
Who needs a Bugatti Veyron when one can experience the same thrilling acceleration with a sub-$20K BMW?? |
